Texture Artist



BIGMOON STUDIOS is an international videogame developer. We are currently hiring a 'Texture Artist' to strengthen our team located in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal.
Qualified applicants will meet the following requirements:

Requirements:

  • Great traditional drawing/painting skills.
  • A strong understanding of UV layout and texturing for games.
  • Experience in creating fantasy and realistic diffuse maps, color maps, normal maps, speck maps, height maps, AO maps, detail maps and transparency maps.
  • Excellent eye for filling in missing detail from concept art, and extracting key features from real world reference.
  • Comfortable with minimal direction and be flexible with realistic rendering styles.
  • Ability to sculpt and paint highly detailed 3D and 2D images.
  • Obsessive attention to detail.
  • Experience in Substance Design/Painter

PREFERENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Experience in Unreal4, CryEngine and/or Unity Shader Forge
